Synergy brings international rugby stars together to create an impactful GUINNESS advertising campaign.
In 2010 Synergy and GUINNESS kicked the international rugby season into life with an above-the-line campaign featuring international rugby union stars Lewis Moody, Lee Byrne and Paul Sackey. After suggesting that the brand developed it’s sponsorship of the GUINNESS PREMIERSHIP to create an above-the-line campaign Synergy was instrumental in contracting the talent and promoting the new advertising campaign ahead of the 2010 RBS 6 Nations Championship.
The campaign embodied the GUINNESS’ end line “Bring it to Life” by depicting the key moments that bring rugby union to life for supporters through the game-changing moves of the featured stars. The Synergy Communications team went on to promote the ad through editorial in The Daily Telegraph, The Sun, the Independent on Sunday and on the BBC - all of which created the desired talking point and brand messaging.
