Karen Earl Sponsorship was launched in 1984 as a radical alternative in an industry populated by rights-facing and sales-focused sponsorship agencies: a brand-facing, consultancy-focused company which never sells sponsorships, guaranteeing brands impartiality as well expertise.
It worked rather well. From 1980s title deals to 21st century 2.0 partnerships, we've advised a who’s who of brands in over 60 countries on sport, entertainment, media, music, culture and cause sponsorships.
Our story continues. In late 2006, we became part of Engine. In 2007 Tim Crow became CEO and Karen Earl became Chairman. In May 2008 we re-branded as Synergy, and moved to the new Engine building in 60 Great Portland Street in London, joining the other Engine companies under one roof. And in June 2009 we celebrated 25 years in business.
