Synergy’s role began when we were appointed to create a global sponsorship strategy. This led to Synergy partnering Standard Life Investments through the transatlantic negotiations which led to the brand becoming the Ryder Cup’s first-ever Worldwide Partner. We then helped Standard Life Investments create and deliver an integrated campaign for the 2014 Ryder Cup at Gleneagles to animate their ‘World Class As Standard’ brand positioning. Subsequently, in 2015 we partnered Standard Life Investments in negotiating the brand’s sponsorship of the British & Irish Lions 2017 Tour to New Zealand.
